The SV Raiders Swim and Dive Team continued their undefeated 2019-20 season with a win over the Bethel Park Blackhawks at home on Wednesday, January 8th. Final scores were SV girls 100 vs. Bethel girls 81, and SV boys 101 vs. Bethel Boys 68.
At almost the mid-point of their season, Raiders swimmers and divers have 78 individual and 6 relay WPIAL cuts, with more than half the team earning a WPIAL spot, and three swimmers - senior Owen Blazer and juniors Edie Sawyer and Kendall Craig - have broken long-standing SV pool records this season.
The SV Swim and Dive Team next takes on Upper St. Clair and Cannon Macmillan at Grove City College this Saturday, January 11th, in what is sure to be a hotly contested tri-meet. The Raiders’ next home meet is Monday, January 13th at 6:00 PM against North Catholic.
